Truck Board

Turn empty truck space into revenue

The Truck Board is where carriers post the capacity they have on routes they are already running, and where moving companies and brokers find a truck for a load. Post a truck with its route, dates, and available cubic feet, and let the loads come to you.

Posting trucks is free. Fill backhauls and partial capacity instead of running empty miles.

FMCSA verified. Requesting loads requires an active FMCSA license, checked through a direct API connection to FMCSA records.

How the Truck Board works

Post the space you have, see the loads that fit, and book directly with the poster.

1

Post your truck

Enter the route, pickup and delivery dates, and the cubic feet and weight you can take. Partial capacity and backhauls are welcome.

2

See matching loads

MDB matches your truck against every load on the Load Board and ranks them by lane, timing, and capacity. Alerts notify you when new loads fit.

3

Request and haul

Request the loads you want. Once the poster accepts, share documents, message directly, and complete payment on your terms.

Built around the way trucks actually run

A truck rarely leaves full and comes back full. The Truck Board is designed for the space in between: the half-empty trailer on the return leg, the extra 600 cubic feet on a scheduled route, the straight truck that has a gap between jobs.

  • Your company name and 5-star rating on every post
  • From and to, or “Anywhere” when you can take any destination
  • Pickup date window
  • Cubic feet available
  • Weight available
  • Search by origin and destination state and city

Let the board do the searching

Two features that keep loads coming to you instead of the other way around.

AI load & truck matching

Post a truck with its route, dates, and available cubic feet, and MDB matches it against every load on the board. Matches are ranked by how well the lane, timing, and capacity line up, so a dispatcher sees the best fits first instead of scrolling the whole list.

  • Matches on origin, destination, radius, and dates
  • Weighs cubic feet and weight against your open capacity
  • Works both ways: loads for your trucks, trucks for your loads
  • Improves as you post more and request more loads

Email alerts free · text alerts on paid plans

Set the lanes, radius, load types, and dates your trucks run, and MDB sends a text or email the moment a load that fits your capacity is posted. Alerts are per user, so each dispatcher gets only the lanes they run. Email alerts are free on every plan, including Basic; text alerts require a paid plan.

  • Instant alerts when a load fits your truck
  • New loads and load requests on your lanes
  • Customizable by lane, radius, load type, and dates

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to post a truck?

No. Posting trucks is free. MDB does not take a percentage of the transaction or control the negotiation.

Can I post partial capacity?

Yes. Post whatever space you have, whether it is a full trailer, a backhaul, or a few hundred cubic feet on a scheduled route.

What do I need to be listed as a carrier?

Interstate carriers need active MC authority (common or contract) with FMCSA and current insurance. Intrastate carriers need active state authority and the required insurance in the states they operate.

To request loads, you need an active FMCSA license, checked against FMCSA records through a direct API connection.

How does matching work?

MDB compares your truck’s route, dates, and open cubic feet and weight against every load on the Load Board and ranks the results by fit. Matching improves as you post more and request more loads.

Will I be notified when a load fits my truck?

Yes. Set up email alerts (free on every plan, including Basic) or text alerts (paid plans) by lane, radius, load type, and dates, and MDB notifies you the moment a matching load is posted.

How do payments work?

You and the load poster agree on terms and pay directly. When you want extra protection, secure escrow payments through Escrow.com are available.
